How To Force Restart iPhone [Updated Solution] 2021

If Your iPhone does not respond, and you cannot turn it off and turn it on, try forcing it to restart.

Force Restart iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, or iPhone 12

Press and quickly release the volume down button of your iPhone, then press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Force Restart iPhone 8 or iPhone SE (2nd Generation)

Press and quickly release the volume down button of your iPhone, then press and hold the side button. When you see the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Force Restart iPhone 6s or iPhone SE (First Generation)

Press and hold the sleep/wake button of your iPhone and the home button at the same time. When you see Apple logo appears, release the two buttons.
